The MBC+A for the 9000 is not going to help with boost droop por taper until one has found a good location to tap for boost pressure downstream of the IC. The overshoot problem will be dealth with and you will see this more when it gets colder. But the tapering issue remains at this point for both of you due to the MBC still plumbed pre IC. Due to the pressure drops across the IC, and your MAP signal being at the IC, the two values are much different. When you are able to move your boost tap closer to your TB closer to the MAP, you will see less taper. Your right foot will be connected to your boost gauge. That is what the ng900 and 9-3 crowd experiences with the MBC+A. The 9000 kit had challenges locating the perfect TB boost tap location due to the changes from year to year in the 9000 engine. There is a blanking plug at the TB. That has been used for the TB tap but it is not for the faint of heart when working at the TB, but it can be done, and has been done and works well.

As Peter has pointed out in this thread, get your MBC adjuted first before working in the anticipator. The +A is there to deal with the overshoot problem, not the tapering/drooping problem. Make sure it is overshoot and not droop as they are very different. Overshoot is due to the WGA opening too late, whereas droop is from many thing including flow limitations of the turbom IC and higher pressure at the turbo compared to the pressure that makes it to the TB. It is smoother at the TB compared to the turbo mostly due to the pressure drops across the IC.

I added a washer to the kit in case the MBC runs out of steam with the 9000's higher boost allowances compared to the NG900 world of 15.5 psi limitations. If you have maxed out the MBC, meaning it is all the way in with no threads showing and you still aren't hitting fuel cuts(with anticipator closed) then the washer inside of the MBc will give you a little more to help. The MBC is rated for 0-20 psi, but in reality it is closer to 0-18psi. so the washer might be needed.

With Pete's aero, we hit fuel cuts without a washer installed, but others have not.

Hopefully you experience faster boost response less overshooting, no fuel cuts and even higher than stock boost pressures. the t-5 can handle that.
