I've followed your saga but have not made any comments thus far as I'm not an expert. Sounds like this one is driving you nuts. My only suggestion is to bring the car to an electrical specialist, not a general mechanic, even a Saab indy, because electrical diagnosis requires skills that the average mechanic may or may not have--even if he or she is experienced with Saabs. I know this because I paid a Saab indy many dollars to try to fix a cruise control problem in my '93 9K, and all for naught. There are just too many variables, too many possible failure points, for the average mechanic's brain to process. Sounds like the mechanic is worth it at this point, but find the right one. Maybe an AC shop would be able to figure it out, too. Good luck.
