oil cooler lines

My 95 cse turbo has been sitting in the driveway after I put the drivetrain back in the car following seal and timing chain guide replacement this past weekend.
I stripped the engine oil cooler top connection threads during removal. It is waiting for a new cooler to arrive from Eeuro. Earlier I found there is more. The top oil cooler line female fitting has threads stripped. Since it is made of steel rather than aluminum, it is going to strip the new oil cooler top connection again if I do not replace it.
So I need a top oil cooler line now. Actually I mught as well replace both. They are pretty rusted. Does Eeuro carry them? Or should I give Jim at Sobstory a call tomorrow?
My experience with these rusted cooler lines is you end up destroying them during removal. These darn hydraulic lines are so expensive I am tempted to find an alternative. Anyone know the specifications for these fittings? I think the AC hoses have the same type of fittings. The connection consist of a crimped hard line with an o-ring.
