I wouldn't.... Posted by turrbo [Email] (#8) [Profile/Gallery] (more from turrbo) on Thu, 16 Jun 2005 22:06:16 In Reply to: Should I take my 9000 out-of-town?, GPost, Thu, 16 Jun 2005 18:34:13 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Try hard and get a DI from somewhere. That will take care of it.
Last time I had a misfire code in my 900SE, my indy reset it and we decided to give it a couple days. Well, before I got home, the CEL was back on. Turned right around and went back to the indy and parked in a space. He told me to bring it in the bay, I went to start it and it totally wouldn't start. The DI crapped out just like that, so don't take any chances.
I must say though, in my 9000, I've driven for a couple weeks with slight misfire before needing to replace the DI.
