A/T adjustment or springs?

Ok -
first it's a '90 9kt

Had problems with the autobox.
FLushing and filter fixed most of them, BUT

I am having an occaisional problem on the
3/4 shift. Doesn't happen every time, but
it's a ZF - gotta do something about ASAP

HERE's what it does
sometimes it revs up and delays
before shifting 3rd to 4th, this is
on fairly moderate acceleration, and it is
shifting at the right speed.
No problems in other gears.

SO, is it
1) Kickdown adjustment (doesn't that affect all shifts?)
2) The A spring - is that the same as the accumulator spring?
I have on of those and know how to put it in.
3) A band adjustment?

From thread research it doesn't seem governor seals are the problem.

Any ideas?
