If I understand, you say you're pushing brake fluid through the annular joint in the slave, past the red seal, and into the transmission through the input shaft bearing. The inner rib of the seal would have to be letting the fluid by, because the outer would let it out in the clutch housing. Can't recall for sure on the orientation of the seal, but I'm leaning towards thinking the ribs contact the slave. I could very well have it backward, though. Agree with hmr that a little fluid shouldn't harm things.
