There is a tripod bearing that moves in and out of the bearing carrier on the inner driver. That cup, the bearing carrier, stays with the transmission and the tripod bearing just rolls out the end once the boot clam is removed. The inner driver is kept in the transmission by a snap ring that must be removed from the back. Don't try to bang it out like you do with other transmissions. I assume you are pulling the engine and transmission together. Otherwise, you will have to remove the driveshaft (actually the C/V joint) from the wheel bearing on the left side before dropping the transmission.
