Engine sway is it possible?

I have a 97 cse turbo and engine is locked up. I have available to me and engine from a 94. Accoring to junkyard listings it will fit, is this true. And if so what would need to be swaped. My biggest concern is the coolant temp sensor is in radiator on the 94 doesn't the 97 get it from the head? Whould the head need to be swaped, if that's the case I would just try to find a different engine. Thanks for your help
