Yes, you will need to install the secondary O2 sensor, or be plagued forever with the CEL blaring at you! That sensor is used by the computer as a baseline figure, not for comparing to the readings from the primary O2 sensor. So, it's a must that you re-install it.
You will need to pick up a boss (or bung) from the local auto parts store and have it welded onto the pipe just after the cat. The size of it is universal. Then you will need to extend the length of the wires going to that sensor by splicing in some new wire. I used speaker wire that contained 4 wires encased into one--made it a much cleaner fitment underneath the chassis. I then routed this wire from the O2 sensor and into one of the two empty brake-line brackets/holders. You'll see them on the right side of the car (green in color)--fits perfectly into one of these holders. Then route the wire all the way to where the original connector is to splice into that end.
Be certain to orient the O2 sensor high up enough off the ground to avoid any collisions with road junk.
Been enjoying my JT for 3+ years now in my stage 3 9K. I would have to say that was one of the best upgrades I installed. Enjoy and stay safe!
