There is no time when any of the bulbs would be out if they aren't all out, unless the bulb is physically bad (or the contacts).

As for contact cleaner, well you can get fancy and get genuine contact cleaner, which probably will last you a lifetime unless you do electronic repair. Or you can do it the brute force way and use a small flat head screwdriver to scrape oxidation/tarnish off the contacts I am not remembering what these particular contacts are like though, so maybe they are too fragile for such an approach. I'm sure there is some cheaper cleaning solution available out of normal household products, but I don't know what it is since I actually DO work on electronics at work, so have access to the real stuff, and the screwdriver's been sufficient at home. :) For what it's worth, I never had any problem with contacts on my ACC1 though, and it has 329,000 miles on it. I have replaced all the bulbs at one point or another, just once though.
