although it shouldn't make any difference since the BPC Solenoid will have to be unplugged to check it out - it's a very easy test.
Regarding the "ECU Boost Valve Drivers", these are the two transistors that control the current that passes through the BPC Solenoid, they are located on the ECU circuit board. A simplistic overview of how it operates is: one coil allows the wastegate to stay closed by blocking the air pressure to it, the other allows pressure to open the wastegate. If the transistors are fried, they will quickly destroy a new BPC Solenoid since they will cause one of the two coils to be switched on all the time.
