Any advice from me on hoisting the transmission up or lowering it to the floor by either an wood A-frame or dropping the sub frame would be pure conjecture. Because I have done it only one way. The method I used is by far the most roundabout, by removing the entire drive train. But that is the only way I know with tools available at my disposal.
