Question 1 - did you re-adjust the rear caliper? To retract the piston, you unscrew the secret allen screw (hidden behind the bolt head). After you put the new pads in, you need to screw that allen back in until the pads just touch, then back it off a quarter to half turn.
Question 1-A - I assume you reconnected the parking brake lines to the parking brake lever on the back of the caliper.
Question 2 - Have you re-adjusted the parking brake? There are two adjusters, one for each wheel, right at the parking brake lever in the cabin. To access, first you need to remove the plastic surround from the lever - the surround has the 'brush' on it. Lift the lever, and look at the front of the plastic brush - you'll see a little screw facing forward on the platic bit. Remove the screw, and lift the plastic surround forward and up. At the base of the lever you'll see two bolts, with a threaded rod coming through each. There is a slot in the threaded rod. This connects to the brake cable. To tighten, slip a wrench over the nut, and use a flat blade screwdriver to hold the rod steady. DO NOT ROTATE THE ROD - this will only twist the cable. It helps to have the back end of the car up on jack stands. Adjust the nuts so that with the parking brake down, the wheels spin (an occasional scrape sound is OK). With the lever 3 clicks up, you shouldn't be able to turn a wheel by hand.
