Sorry I really should have posted my info, its a 1995 9000 Aero 5spd. The clutch is OEM Saab and its almost brand new. I havent tried the 4th before reverse idea, so ill try that later. The odd thing is it the shifter goes into reverse and it feels totally normal without any grinding or anything, but then as soon as i start to let the clutch out the shifter pops out a little and makes the sound (from the shifter) like you tried shifting without the clutch all the way in. That buzzing/grinding sound.
