My '97 9000 Aero has a strange dashboard "rumble" on the right side, near the right speaker. The noise is a low rumble, like an old record player with a bad ground, but it also has a second whine that goes up and down with the speed of the engine. The noise appears to be some kind of interference, because it is only present when the radio or CD is on, and not all the time. However, it is present even when the volume is all the way down or the speaker balance is all the way to the left side. When I turn off the stereo, the noise goes away. If I then turn the stereo back on, it usually does not start again for several minutes. When I turn off the engine with the stereo still on, it goes away. I have tried turning on and off the ACC, the seat heaters, etc, and I have pulled virtually every fuse in the dashboard fuse box that would not stop the engine, and the noise stays.

This is my fifth 9000, and I have been down the road with blower motors, temp sensors, etc, and this is a new one. The parts guy at the local Saab dealer has never heard this noise either. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated before I start throwing money at the problem or try to have an exorcism!!.
