It needs, well, everything pretty much.

My first instinct is springs, bilisten HD's, poly everyhting I can get, big sway bars, etc, etc. I'm sure that handles great.

But I'm a year round driver, and am apt to be out west in snow(which stiff springs and such are very not good for). Rain, tools and stuff in back, etc, etc..

And frankly I'll be a year siphoning off money for all that as well, I've got young guy with woman domestic stuff competing for my time and funds these days. I know good and well if I let it sit that long I'll get burned out and never finish it. So..

What's a good plan of attack for good all around use that's better handling than stock but not quite so stiff. I have little to no seat time on the road with a 9000 really so I don't know what needs attention. I've searched and read and have soeme ideas, but am still a little fuzzy on some thing.

I'm assuming poly bushings are still a good idea all around.
I've read poly on the rear sway will help get rid of understeer(which I hate), is it really that bad to have poly front and rear?

How about struts, I see $450 for a set of Billie HD's, and not a lot less for OEM Boge unless I'm not looking in the right place. Are the OEM's that soft?

I'm assuming the stock springs are good enough for what I want. I was thinking about it the other day working on the motor mounts, and then when I was turning around after the test drive and was pleased to not have it scrape on the bumps in the path. In short I don't think I really want it any lower. I take great pleasure in not haveing to slow down for bumps and humps and dips, call me strange..

How about the sways themselves, is stock enough with poly bushings to keep from scrapeing the door handles with body roll? I don't like going too stiff with them because I know they hurt traction in wet stuff from experience, but..

Is there such a thing as an upgraded OEM setup I could procure (I work for a salvage yard, though we have no Saabs here, I can get stuff), something from an Aero maybe? I've searched and find snipets of info here and there but nothing concise. I'd only really need springs and sway bars if there is such a year or model I could get them from.

I know it's a lot of questions, and I've learned a lot reading here and elsewhere. I'm kind of hopeing for some all at one time thoughts from you guys who have been there done that pertaining to my specific goal and car.
Thanks..
