Agree with Bill, Your chain is still brand new. Anyway, if You're about to replace chain go for it, and follow the giudelines at townsendimports about engine in car timing chain replacement.
Assuming that just timing chain had to be replaced, no need for bright (yellow) link alignments: if You have notches on camshafts aligned with crankshaft sprockets notches and harmonic balancer aligned with mark on timing cover, it's ok. Once everything is aligned, install chain tensioner and (with the help of a socket+extension)turn the harmonic balancer once or twice: marks should remain aligned.This is very important!
I usually use an endless chain and the SAAB tool to roll and tap back the master link: I don't look at yellow links. Maybe I'm lucky but at this time no out-of phase-engines.
