Washer reservior leak repair checklist Posted by henry helfman [Email] (#787) [Profile/Gallery] (more from henry helfman) on Sun, 5 Mar 2006 22:46:48 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I had been suspicious of my washer reservoir leaking for a while now but confirmed it tonight. Filled 1 gal at gas station, noticed a small puddle underneath RH wheel well, could be over splash from the pour, had not used them at all and 2 hours later the low level light came on again.
I have read the BB, know it's common on 1993+ 9000s and suppose it could be a cracked reservoir, poped/torn hose, or check valve.
I just dont want to pull it apart twice to do the job in the cold. Any suggestions as a plan of action (what are cheap parts to get in advance before dissassembly) to get it quickly apart and patched in one shot?
