On my 96CS which was an auto, I put in a 5 speed. Used the original driveshafts. Think the trans came from a turbo but am not sure. Just know that I didn't need driveshafts. I checked the travel when I completed the job just to be sure that there was not a length issue. Did not seem to be, and was 2 years ago. I remember that I asked the dealer about the driveshaft differences at the time and that did not help as they had a lot of different numbers and no specifcations for them.
