The 8th digit of the VIN number is for engine variant...I am looking at a 5 sp tranny from a '95 9000 and I see that there are 3 version of the turbo motor.
M= 2.3T, standard output
R= 2.3T, high output
U= 2.3T, low pressure
High output is 225hp with standard tranny and 200hp with auto.
Low pressure is 170hp?
What is a standard output motor hp?
