Now that it's all legal and the lights work (still a cracked windscreen, so not *quite* legal), I took the 9000 out for a drive this evening.

It felt pretty solid, I was plesantly surprised. Still needs tires, you can feel there pretty hard.

Question time:

The temp on the road was showing about 1/4 of the gauge, I thought that was a little on the low side.

Power under hard throttle has been good previously and still is, boost gauge runs up to just almost in the red then backs off, I assume it's the APC doing it's thing(running premium fuel), I have yet to set the base boost. Trouble is, low end power, like under 2500rpm is pretty poor. Is this normal? Engine has fresh tune-up, open element filter, gutted cat, center muffler removed. Seems like it should have a little more power even before the turbo get's going.

Smoothness shifting/accelerating. I've got poly and solid mounts all around, a pretty tight shifter I just installed (it shifts pretty darn good, I was worried from what people say about them), but there still feels like there is a lot of "play" in the drivetrain. I'm assuming it's in the trans and/or axles.
It will probibly be better when my new throttle cable get's in and is no longer sticking in the first bit of movement.

That's all that comes to mind that isn't an obvious thing. Tires and windshield in the next week or so.

Any thoughts?
