I have the Taliaferro brace, which is a Speedpart copy. It is made of steel but the actual brace is very sturdy. The brackets that hole the brace in place are made of relatively thin SS and are designed to bend when you tighten the three strut screws down. The brackets will bend to conform to the shap of the wheel well. I reported very good results on the Performance BB when I installed my brace. It keeps the car level on quick turns. I had upgraded many bushings right before I installed the brace si it is difficult to estimate the net effect from just the brace. The overall effect from the bushings and the brace was really great. I also replace front and rear sway bar bushings with Ploy as well as front sway bar drop link bushings and the lower/rear control arm buterfly bush. The cumulative effect was well worth the effort and money for me. I recently installed the poly transmission mount and although it makes shifting much much smoother, the cabin vibrates much more. I also have one poly bus hon the upper engine dog bone mount.
