BCPR7ES is pregapped to .8mm or so, and the 11 is pregapped to 1.1 . Either way it is good to check and reset gap to what you want it to be. I think my '95CSE and Aero specify 1.0 +/-.1mm. I too go to the lower end of that range at .9mm. I also replace at 12-15k in hopes of preserving the DI.
For less than $2ea from site sponsors, I think fresh BCPR7ES or BCPR7ES-11 are cheap insurance for good performance. The DI/ECU are designed around this plug, and I don't think I'd be subbing even if it seems like platinum or irridium should be better.
