I recently bought a '98 NG900SE 5 speed after owning several 9Ks. And like a lot of Saab traditionalists I had viewed the NG900s as something less than a true Saab. After owning the car for about six months and spending time on the NG board I have to say I was wrong, dead wrong. This car is 100% Saab by any measurement you care to name. The earlier ones had some problems that are by and large solveable and the later ones are surprisingly reliable--maybe more so than 9ks. I would reccomment them very highly-who would've thought?
