I have a 93 saab 9000cse turbo 5spd with TCS with 220k miles on it but runs really good, my car started smoking alot so I decided to do a compression test , I dont know why but I decided to take the throttle body hose and try to keep the throttle wide open to get an accurate test, these are the #
cyl1 is 160 DRY , 170wet
cyl2 is 150 DRY ,160wet
cyl3 is 150 DRY , 165wet
cyl4 is 155 DRY , 170wet
after I put everything back together the car would not idle and the ^%$# TCS light is on looking at me in the face, I checked everything and its all secure, I didn't touch any of the tcs component at all other than the thottle body
My 1st question is Do the compression # look ok or NOT
my 2nd question is, what the hell is up with the tcs light, I can't even drive the car anymore,I'm about to give up on saabs I have to say the tcs was a big mistake but saab, I wish that even with the tcs disabled you would still drive the car but I guess when the tcs light is on its almost like ctrl alt delete on a PC
thanks much
