ACC 2 fan controller

My 94 Aero's fan stopped working, although the heat and A/C seem to provide what's needed so I suspect the ACC II computer is OK. I pulled the fan controller and tested the fan directly to the battery, and it spins up just fine. (The fan was replaced about 30k miles ago, so I'd hoped it hadn't melted down again!) What other checks can I do to be sure the controller is bad, and there's not some other "loose wire" somewhere? -Cal
