Julia,

All this stuff is fixable!

Radio: If I were you, I would go to Circut City or the like and get a $100 CD/radio w/ free installation and try to sell the CD player(below the radio).

Before you tackle the sunroof, you could park on an incline, open the sunroof and pour a couple ounces of water in the sunroof inner gutter. If you don't see water draining from under the middle of the car, you need to clean those drains. Then park with the other end of the car on an incline and test the other set of drains.

The sunroof has 4 drains. Two are behind the back wheels. If you lie down under the car and get your head diagonally behind the rear wheel, you should see 2 tubes (each about 2 inches long) sticking out of the underside of the car. One is the sunroof drain and the other is a gas filling door drain(on pass side) and on the driver's side, one is for sunroof and the other is a pwr antenna drain. I bought an icemakers water supply kit for $10 so I could use its tube. I took the hard plastic tube (about 15 ft long) and crammed it up the drain tubes. I had to push really hard but it eventually pushed the dirt and leaves out of the drain holes in the back of the sunroof.

The front drains were much easier. I had to remove the black plastic aquarium cover at the base of the windshield. Then, with the sunroof open, push the icemaker plastic tube down the drain hole from above, at the sunroof. You will eventually see the tube sticking out in the aquarium.

There is also an elephant type trunk in the middle of the firewall between the motor and the aquarium. This trunk is a drain for the aquarium and it has a flap type door. This could have crap in it too. You should be able to find that. If not you could pour water into the aquarium and see if it drains out. You should probably check this before you check the front sunroof drains.

I have never done the window before, but the inner door skin needs to be removed and the window needs to be re-seated in its gutter type base (I would imagine).

You could pay for all of this to be done. New Radio = $120. The rest is just labor. maybe 2.5 hours at $70 = $175.

Good luck.
-Peter
