Depends what bushing you're talkin about - wobbling isn't a good idea anyway! At your mileage it would probably be a really good idea to replace the big "butterfly bushes" to the control arm on the front suspension. That will make your car feel much better, whether you choose standard rubber or poly bushes.

I just don't see how those would give you this grinding noise, however. I reckon it's more likely that your brake pads aren't retracting properly - but I'm sure there are plenty of other possible causes. I'm just guessing that this is a result of your DIY brake pad install, but for all I know you're a whizzo mechanic with a string of letters after your name!

Let's hope someone else posts with some other thoughts.
