Try cleaning the contacts in the connectors to the amplifier under the front passenger seat. In my 98 CSE I the HK radio would fade out after it was on for a half hour or so. It was an excuse to replace the head unit with one from Pioneer (much better tuners). I am still using the HK Amp so the problem must have been in the head unit.
