My left rear brake caliper was leaking fluid, draining the master cyl reservoir slowly. I didn't notice it right away, but in the morning the clutch would be near the floor, then work it's way back to normal during the day's driving. Eventually the leak ran down the parking brake cable and the lower A arm so it dripped onto the ground behind the wheel. It took a few days before I noticed the leak and traced it back to the rear brake caliper. (The upper plug in the caliper was leaking fluid.) I tried using JB Weld to seal it, but that didn't work, so I ended up replacing the caliper. I've had no problem with the brakes since then, and the clutch operation has returned to normal as well. This was on an 87 9kT with 202k miles which sometimes sits for 6 months before it's pressed into service to replace my 94 Aero when it breaks down! -Cal
