9000cs, cse and aero Posted by dan [Email] (#2459) [Profile/Gallery] (more from dan) on Tue, 3 Oct 2006 08:31:49 In Reply to: 900 vs. 9000, shortlid, Tue, 3 Oct 2006 07:55:37 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Difference is in horsepower and suspension (aero). There are a few interior things like leather, dash "upgrade", etc that come standard with the CSE that do appear from time to time on a CS. The CS was the base model, CSE the upgrade (about 25 more HP) and the Aero was the sport model (another 25 HP). I have a '94 CSE that still goes strong at 320,000 (manual) and just picked up a '96 with a stage 2-3 set-up with about 140,000. I have more little issues with the newer car and the older car was all original save timing chain/balance shaft chain replacement is about 8 months ago. The ones in there weren't bad...I just couldn't imagine them being ok after so many miles, right?
You can't really compare the 9000 to the 900. They are totally different cars. if you want a smaller car, get the 900. That's really the only comparison point.
