Hi I've got a '97 Aero with factory immobiliser, great, dumped me last night when the battery went flat in the key fob so it would fire but not run, so as to fool the potential thieves I suppose!
Fed up with this and having to lock and unlock the car if left for 2 mins or so.
So the question is can the immobiliser be ditched and retain the remote locking cos car theft is not a problem with this older car any more.
Third SAAB, keep buying other makes keep returning to 9000 am I addicted?
Thanks in advance for any ideas / sympathy
Ian.
