Did this before with our old 87 9KT with the kids on a whim agreeing to stop only at places with three syllables, just to make it fun. Took more than five days. Except for a flat tire that resulted in a bent rim and a two day delay to get the new wheel from Tire Rack, the tire went about 100 miles east of North Bend, the trip was great fun, especially over Montana. You might try the southern route or come back to me with an offer, as I have some free time next month and maybe the wife and I will climb in and do it for you.
