Driver Seat Stuck Forward

The other day I had my '95 CSE detailed. When I got home I there was a message from the detailer indicating after he moved the drivers seat all the way forward (to clean behind it), it would only come back +- 3 inches.
The electric switch is working, and the seat will ride all the way forward. But on the way back it slows and stops after about three inches. I can't figure out if its a gear issue (in the electric motor), if something is catching underneath (I raised the seat but it does not make any difference), or if there is debris on the rails. I've tried to check them all.
Does anyone have any recent advice (I've searched the board and found some old posts). Will the manual crank be of any help in this case? Obviously I have access to the rear bolts but not to the front as they are covered with the seat in this position.
Any suggestions will be much appreciated!
