I had 2 900s one was a 84 turbo, and one was a modified 87 spg with the complete airflow package which included the front and rear bumper, ALL Silver. with grey interior, this was my favorite car, it was definatly different a one of a kind, it handled as good as my dads 944 turbo, if not better. while by buddies were into Mustangs my Saab would outhandle them but they would beat me in a straight away, just a all around fun car. but small. I then went to a 2000 9.3 Se turbo which I also liked but it was too small for the kids car seats, I now have a 94 9000 Aero which is really the best of both worlds of Saabs meaning, much more room, very good performance and yet still very different from any other car on the road. I think the 900 really has no issues other then bad heater valves, the 9000 has more electronics so it comes with some issues now that it is getting "old" but the auto climate is much better then the twist knob on the 900's, better radio etc.... all in all the 9000 has more stuff. but it does give more body roll. BUT>> put a set of 225 50 16's on it and it will out handle any 900 out their, last fall I got new tires and thought the stock tires didn't really fit the wheel well all that great so i went to the wider 225 50's and it really, really changed the car, looks better handles better but it isn't too good in the snow now!!! you can fold the seats down and haul some stuff, you can go the the junk yard and pull a set of seat hold down brackets from a CS or CSE they will fit your Areo seats to hold them FLAT, but I don't recomend leaving them down all night, you really need to put some pressure on them to go flat with the recaro's, but since I haul a lot of stuff I use them often, that is why I drive a Saab, performance, with the ability to haul, yet I have no intrest in driveing the same car as everyone else on the street. I had the only silver 900 SPG probalby in Ohio for 4 years, now I have the only Black 9k Aero in town, It's called Identity and Saab spirit
