Hi, I taking off a strut from my poor (totaled) 97 CSE to put on my 87 9K turbo because its coil spring broke. The instructions in my Haynes book says to remove upper three and lower two mounting bolts but nothing of compressing spring to remove struts. I am having trouble getting the last of the two lower bolts off the 97 and it seems as though the coil is forcing strut down against bolt. I can turn the bolt (nut is off) but even pounding the thread end of bolt with a sledge hammer while rotating it does not back it out at all. Any suggestions are much appreciated. I'm going back out to bang some more! ToddH
