I discovered that the vibration is due to disabled balance shafts, which the previous owner confirmed in a phone call this morning. It's not too severe so I think they'll remain disabled.
I pressure tested the system and like every 9000 T i've had, it leaks from a whole ton of vacuum connections like crazy. Sealed some up and saw a substantial decrease in lag and ability to maintain boost.
Isn't this car a "Trionic" car? It's got a map sensor as opposed to a MAF and I heard that this car doesn't take well to manual boost controllers. True?
