1991s are argueable the quickest, they have the 200hp 2.3, and shorter gears. there also lighter. you also did not get TCS in 1991, wich makes them much much more reliable., and in 1991 you got bigger fender flares.
i also think they handle better than the new gen 9k, but its so tuff tell, it could have simply been the tires the cars were rideing on,ect ect.
and who can forget, they have that sexy old school body.
as for there cons, the gearboxes dont have fluid drain plugs, installing them isnt tough, but its a bummer.
there a little lounder, they just dont have as much sound insulation, espially near the rear of the car
i look at them from this perspective, i like the way the 91's look over any other year, and they cost much much less than aeros, and things like sterios, seats, and other options are not hard to change out, with the money youll have left over from it being a 1991, youll be more than able to put all the goodies you want into it
