Thank you for the reply and great advice.. I just headed down to my local NAPA store and picked up NGK's - last thing I want to do is fry the DI - that's four C-notes up in smoke. I remember the same w/ my '87 900T - it just hated Bosch plugs.. So this "plug change" just cost me about $30 (The Bosch's about to go the trash + the new NGK's) for a gain of about 4 MPG.. oh well - message is still there to change those plugs on a regular basis - only USE NGK's ;-)
