First things first, I have two front tires that are wearing terribly but ONLY on the inside rim. The bushings are in good shape, and nothing seems out of whack. Not being terribly used to a strut-ted car, what would generally cause this?
second, I picked up a set of Bilsteins for this car. I have read that many find them a bit stiff but I don't mind so much. I'm not a fan of the present squish. It is a '96 CSE with a stage 2 set-up that makes the car quite fast and such, so a little more control would be nice. Now, what are the complete disadvantages to installing the Bilsteins with the stock springs? What is the best spring for the money that will not really lower the car? We have snow here, lots of bumps and potholes, etc. Lowering the car just doesn't seem worth it.
Thanks for you input.
Dan
