I assume you can pull the old piece out of the radio.
There are two approaches. Part of it depends on where the break is. I assume it was really close to the radio.
The first approach is to take the old piece and walk into Radio Shack, and ask if they have one of those connector plugs. This works if the break was within a few inches of the radio (otherwise the cable would be too short). They'll sell you a new connector plug. This now requires a little soldering. The antenna wire is a coax - there is a black outer insulation - with a sharp knife, cut back about 3/4 of an inch or so, but don't cut the wire mesh underneath (it may look like silver foil). It's OK if you nick the wire/foil, but don't cut it away completely. Push that back and you'll see another waxy plastic tube. Carefully cut away some of that plastic to expose the wire below. You slip the connector over the wire - the inner wire will come out the tip of the plug. Solder that, and clean it off with a file so it looks about as clean as the old (broken) one. Crimp the ground (body), and you're good to go.
Option two - Again from Radio Shack, you might be able to buy a piece of coaxial cable with the plug already on. Now you need to splice the old cable to the new cable. Basically do the same as above, but to both wires. Solder the middle connectors together, and wrap with some electrical tape to insulate. Connect the foil/mesh together with a wire (any bit of wire will do, wrap with some aluminum foil, and then wrap that with more electrical tape.
Splicing an antenna wire of this type isn't that critical, and it is going to be WAY better than trying to replace the whole cable.
