all,

i have some particular needs with seating because i broke my tailbone back in 1988 doing some aerial photography. i drove C900s for many years but those seats are just not adjustable enough for my needs. i migrated briefly to a bmw e34 525 wagon, specifically for the seat comfort. after one year with that car i am now in a 1998 9000CSE and loving it.

what i wanted to tell you is that i have found a wedge-shaped foam cushion called "car-cush" that has a U-shaped cutout where your tailbone is. makes a HUGE difference in seating comfort. when i first got the 9000, i was worried that it was not going to give me enough headroom, and that this cushion would make it even worse, but the foam compresses down to almost nothing and i still have enough headroom as long as seat back is reclined enough.

i have no commercial ties to this product, just a happy customer and thought for people doing searches about seat comfort, this might be worth putting in writing. (i got mine mail-order for $30 here in the u.s.)
