my old timing chain jumped a tooth last May, so I did a replacement timing/balance chain job. they car ran rough immediately following, so I pulled the head and, of course, the exhaust valves ran into their corrosponding pistons. I didn't reaplce anything but the head gasket because I didn't have time, but as winter comes upon us in Chicago I'm quickly realizing how much I don't like the rough idle.

so, enough background. what should I do? the cylinder dents aren't bad and I've been driving it like this for months. I love my car, but I don't have enough time to replace the engine. I've done some research and found used heads for pretty cheap, and that's a quick job. best way to go?
