102k on the clock and will not start need to know how applicable Ari's no start checklist is to this car. Most tests seem to work with the following results:
Step 1: Fuses 23, 13 & 14 good
Step 2: No lasting CEL (come on with dash lights and then goes out) +15 supply to control module good (checked through fuse 13 right?)
Step 3: Did not conduct, how do you id the socket pin numbers?
Step 4: See above
Step 5: Fuel pump did not run.
Step 6: Did not conduct, uncertain how to remove injector connector. Please advise.
Step 7: Did not conduct, DI replaced <1500 miles ago.
Test 1: Fuel pump runs when jumped.
Test 2: Zero volts through fuse 14 BUT... FP Relay can be closed by applying voltage during a bench test. Close 86/87 and there's good continuity through 30/87. At the socket there's battery voltage on 30 and ignition voltage on 86. In the car the relay does not close.
Test 3: Voltage present from 86 through ground with ignition on. I know another indicator of a bad FP relay. Is it possible for the relay to work on the bench but not in the car?
Test 4: No idle air control valve click. ALSO, there is no battery voltage at socket 30 but there is battery voltage (ignition off) at socket 87.
Any help will be very much appreciated.
