I thought TCS might be a good thing to have, but i was wrong. On my recent 2300 miles trip home, my 1995 Aero 5 speed, went into LHM in the middle of a long hill, scared the living day light out of me. I set the cruise control at 80mph, and all the sudden, is like the car had hit something and the TCS off light is on, and the throttle weights a ton, I was able to get off at the next exit in no where land at night, no service station and no signal from my cell phone. What kind of cell phone service do they have in New Mexico anyway? Once i stop the car, it stalled and won't be able to restart again. I was ready to spend the night inside the car, but i did one thing that saved me from a cold long night, I pulled the back up cable twice, by opening the throttle, put the car back in action ( Don't understand why? ). I was one lucky SOB. Thottle body $650. Safety valve $70. The look on my face, priceless. Thank you Guardian Angel.
