Don't know if Ultima Ltd is still around, but I replaced my '93 Aero's TB with one of their rebuilt units, and the quality of the unit was excellent. As you say, the cost to me, once they gave me a credit for sending the old TB core to them, was around $350 or so. Again, as Dave and I have emphasized, you MUST recalibrate BEFORE and AFTER removing and replacing the parts (both TB and potentiometer).

Personally, I doubt the potentiometer will be a problem part, and if you're replacing, be sure you're getting the part from a trustworthy source. No point replacing what is likely an okay original part with a defective one.
