To learn how to change the headgasket on the '87, than to throw a turbo on your NA engine. Changing a headgasket isn't a bad job if you have the space and tools, but adding a turbo would be a killer. Think oil lines, coolant lines, adding an intercooler, changing the manifold, adding the APC system, changing the computer, swapping the entire wiring harness, etc...Then looking forward to your engine blowing up. You could only set it at base boost anyway, since full pressure would be too much.
Seriously, buy the car, change the headgasket (or pay an indy to do it) and you'll be very happy.
