All depending on the shop doing the job, it is a slight chance to damage the wiring for wheel sensors when replacing the shocks.

Especially if it was a lot of rust and stuck bolts involved.

What did the shop say since the lights were not on when you dropped off the car for the work and then they were illuminated when you picked it up?
