Cold starting issue Posted by Chadwick [Email] |
Hey everyone,
I have a stage 5 94 9k Aero.
Recently it started having a hard starting issue on cold mornings (15-20 degrees or so) and will barely fire up. The car cranks for a long time and when it finally fires it feels like it's almost running on three cylinders or something, the idle will only be at 400rpm or so. If I let it sit for awhile and warm up everything straightens out after about five minutes and runs great. For about 3 days it was starting normal and felt peppy and ready to go right off the bat, but then the issue returned.
In the past year I've replaced the AIT sensor, fpr, fuel injectors (green giants), fuel pump (Walbro 255), temp sensor on intake manifold, DI cassette, Plugs get changed every 3rd oil change with oem NGK7's gapped to .35, idle control valve, and thermostat just to name a few.
Any thoughts on what could be causing this is appreciated!
Tanks,
-Chad
