You can use ANY engine from 94-98 that was originally turboed, light or high pressure. I did this about a year ago due to a failed BPC on my 97 Aero and a not-as-picky as me indy that couldn't diagnose the overboosting.
i purposely chose a low miles light pressure motor to drop in since i'm thinking it would see less abuse than a used aero one (auto or manual.)
it's hard to blow these motors...do you know what happened?
